Gloucester Cathedral commissioned this album as a piece of work about Mindfulness and meditation. It was played in Gloucester Cathedral with a mediation over the music as part of the City of Serenity throughout August 2022.
I wrote the piece to represent the idea that mindfulness can be a part of your day at any time. There are 4 tracks or movements representing the 4 parts of the day. I tried to write a piece that could be listened to as part of a relaxation, or just as something that could be listened to throughout the listener's day.
